SYSTEM MONITORING
Up until recently, commercial building systems had to be monitored by a person in the building most of the time. ECOterra Energy’s installations of any sort have monitoring systems built into them. If there are any issues with programs or equipment, these programs initiate communication about the issue much more quickly than a person could, either self-correcting the problem or letting the building manager know that more may need to be assessed.
SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
The same systems that monitor installations for problems are also programmed to do routine and non-routine maintenance. These maintenances are logged by the software for record-keeping purposes and anything that is found to be abnormal generates an alert directly to the building manager.
Almost every energy-saving protocol that we practice can be retro-commissioned into an existing building by ECOterra Energy Consulting, drastically improving the building’s performance, savings, comfort and aesthetics.
