Although solar photo voltaic and solar thermal solutions make up the more frequently used sources of renewable energy, our team has designed and constructed ground source heat pump systems and has helped develop co-generation facilities and critical power generation systems.
We have long-standing relationships with Tier I manufacturers that can deliver top-quality materials at competitive prices.
We are partners with a company that manufactures a passive thermal mass product that can reduce cooling loads by as much as 40% in multi-story office buildings through a Phase Change process. The product not only reduces kWh but shifts loads from peak demand to off peak times and as a result reducing demand charges by as much as 50%.
ECOterra Energy Consulting’s Chief Technology Officer, Bill Marshall, PhD, has spent his entire career developing, verifying and building renewable energy technologies as director of the renewable department at Sandia National Laboratory (SNL) in Albuquerque, NM and as the deputy director at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO. Bill holds several advanced degrees in engineering.
